GDPR DATA PROTECTION NOTICE

The aim of this Data Protection Notice (“Notice”) is to inform European based individuals who represent one or more clients of NISA Investment Advisors, LLC (together with its affiliated entities, the “Company,” “NISA,” or “we” or “us”) and interact with NISA on behalf of such clients from time to time, on the collection, use, disclosure, transfer, and other processing of their individually identifiable work-related information (“Personal Data”). Under applicable European data privacy laws including, but not limited to, laws implementing the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and the UK Data Protection Act (together the “Data Privacy Laws”), the Company is the data controller.

Related to your interactions with the Company, we collect and process certain Personal Data about you. We collect and process your Personal Data (a) for purposes that are required by applicable law, regulations, collective agreements or other contracts, (b) to allow the Company to fulfill its business needs and legal obligations, and (c) in furtherance of business relationships with our clients. You hereby consent to the Company using your Personal Information to send you work related communications, including without limitation marketing communications. The Personal Data we collect and process includes the following categories where applicable:

  • Contact information: such as full name, preferred name, title, work address, work phone number, work fax number, work email address, and work mobile phone number.

2. Sources of Personal Data

We may obtain Personal Data from the sources listed below:

  • directly from you, from our client or your employer, or from other third parties, such as your co-workers.

3. Disclosure of Personal Data

Your Personal Data will be disclosed by the Company as we deem necessary for the purposes listed in Section 1 above.

4. U.S. Law

The Company notifies you that it is located in the United States, the laws of which might not provide a level of data protection equivalent to you that is provided by the law in your home country.

5. Data Security

We maintain reasonable security measures to protect the Personal Data against accidental, unlawful, or unauthorized destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure, or access.
